A word from the Premier

On the shores of lac Saint-Louis, on the West Island, stands Beaconsfield. And on the cusp of its 100th anniversary, its citizens have every reason to get together, celebrate, and reminisce about the events that have marked Beaconsfield’s past and to proudly applaud what Beaconsfield has become over the years.

On behalf of the Government of Québec, I am pleased to join with all Beaconsfielders in shining the spotlight on the 100th anniversary of their city’s founding — a perfect opportunity to pay tribute to those who shaped its history and those who, today, continue to build its future and to tell the world about this beautiful part of Québec.

May this 100th birthday herald an ever-brighter tomorrow.
