For 100 years, the City of Beaconsfield has been more than a home to its residents—it has been a community, a place to raise a family, to have a livelihood and to build a life.

Throughout my travels across Canada, I have been amazed and impressed by the passion people have for their communities, and how they search for solutions to the challenges our society faces. In a growing town like Beaconsfield, programs and activities have been organized and established over the years to answer the needs of the residents. Together, you have all contributed to Beaconsfield’s development, to building a more welcoming place, and to ensuring the well-being of its citizens. The people who have lived and worked here have created a charming city in which they can take great pride.

I wish all of you a wonderful celebration and a prosperous and happy tomorrow.
